Costing Clerk Position Available - Transport Sector

Johnston's Transport is a Family owned & Operated company based in two strategic locations in Sydney. With a proud history and loyal customer base stretching over 100 years we now have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Administration professional with a solid focus on costing & client charging.

As an operating entity we provide container and transport & logistics, further specialising in heavy haulage, heavy machinery lifts, factory relocation, warehousing and delivery services. The successful applicant would ideally be proficient in the following;
  • Microsoft Access, Word & Excel.
  • Cost Accounting.
  • General Administrative Duties.
  • Experience with operating MYOB accounting suite.
  • Previous experience within the transport sector would be an advantage, but not essential.
  • Adapt to different priorities as they present themselves.
  • Work well in a small team environment.
The position will provide a long term security within a dynamic team environment.

Previous experience in a fast paced environment is essential along with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of people. Strong organization skills and the ability to multi task are important. General administrative processes, working knowledge of key accounting concepts and the ability to develop and maintain strong business relationships with key stakeholders is required.

Position is based at Head Office in Smithfield, and immediate start available for the right applicant.
